Clayton, Deidre and Kye Cooper would like to welcome you to The Channon Tavern. They're proud to offer you a range of facilities and of course plenty of friendly country service.
Extensive renovations in 1991 retained the character and old world charm of this early 20th century butter factory. The Channon Tavern today offers travellers and locals alike a hot meal and a cool drink in a pristine rural setting.
Nestled alongside Terania Creek and downstream from the famous Protestors Falls and NightCap National Park, the Tavern is set amongst peaceful gardens and remains the heart of the village.
Everyone is catered for including large groups such as bus tours, car and bike clubs. The restaurant boasts a constantly changing blackboard menu with fresh, mouth-watering meals at affordable family prices.
We're a short drive from local B&B's so make a weekend out of it and experience the famous Channon Craft Market on the second Sunday of each month or the Folk Club's Open Mic in the grounds of the Tavern on the fourth Sunday.

Coffee and Cake
The Tavern also serves fresh Botero espresso coffee, premium arabica beans product of COFFEE ART Australia. You can also get a fresh cup of tea and there's a variety of cakes and locally made biscuits available.
